Trywydd becomes part of the vibrancy at Yr Egin

On Monday 1 October 2018, Trywydd moved to its new head office at Canolfan S4C Yr Egin, to coincide with the development and expansion of its provision as one of Wales’ leading companies in professional language services.

The company has doubled in size over recent years, and now provides text translation, editing and proofreading services, simultaneous translation, equipment hire and language planning for a wide range of customers across Wales. The company comprises of a team of skilled staff working in its offices in Carmarthen, Aberystwyth, Llandeilo and Ammanford, as well as a selected network of consultants and professional translators across Wales.

Trywydd’s Chief Executive, Owain Gruffydd, said: “Trywydd is delighted to have its head office located at Yr Egin, and shares the same vision of contributing positively to the economic development of the area and offering desirable job opportunities in West Wales. The venue offers bespoke and contemporary office space, as well as great opportunities to network and foster new links in a sector that is crucial to the future and growth of the Welsh language.”

He added, “We are looking forward, over the coming years, to developing our existing services, as well as new services, both from our headquarters in Carmarthen and from our other offices in Aberystwyth, Llandeilo and Ammanford.”
